Principal Scientist
Stefan has been employed at Syntese since 2005, primarily as Senior Manager in the Development and Production Support departments. In his current role as Principal Scientist, he is part of the management team and provides crucial scientific support across all departments at Syntese and collaborates with other functions within Ferring.
Stefan studied chemistry in Germany with a specialization in technical and analytical chemistry and completed his Ph.D. in organic chemistry in 1995. In the years after, he participated in post-doctoral research at various universities in the USA, Germany and Denmark. In his work at Syntese, he also draws on his valuable experience in quality control from Lundbeck’s production site.
Stefan is involved in Sports Club Hellas Roskilde training in athletics and primarily focused on the throwing disciplines such as shot put. Together with his wife, he can be found at masters competitions, winter swimming, kayaking and hiking in Denmark, or traveling together around Scandinavia and climbing mountains in the Alps.
