- Protect the safety and health of its employees, and others affected by its operations by aiming to eliminate work-related injuries and illnesses.
- Systematically identifies hazards through risk assessments, audits, inspections and workplace assessments and takes proactive measures to manage and control risks.
- Reduces environmental impact from the company’s operations and achieves goals and objectives for optimizing water and energy consumption, reducing CO2 emissions, minimizing waste production, and optimizing recycling/recovery of waste.
- Improves energy efficiency and increases the share of energy consumption from renewable energy sources.
- Integrates safety, health, and environmental policy considerations at all stages of the value chain, from the procurement of goods to the development of new products, to the production, packaging, distribution, and transport of our pharmaceutical products.
- Establishes a local safety, health and environment organisation with the necessary expertise and sufficient resources to create a proactive environment, health, and safety culture.
- Complies with all safety, health and environmental laws and regulations as well as Ferring safety, health, and environmental standards.
- Conducts training and education to raise awareness of safety, health and environmental matters and engages employees in this.
- Regularly reviews performance, performs root cause analysis of accidents to prevent recurrence and sets targets for continuous improvement.
- Establishes contingency and emergency plans to ensure the company’s continued operation.
